We're delighted to implement the WEEE Regulations to ensure your old appliances are disposed of safely and correctly. The prices on our website include a contribution to a Product Recycling Fund, which ensures that electronic equipment is collected and recycled in a responsible manner. When an item is being delivered, we'll remove a similar old appliance for recycling. Provided it is disconnected, clean, fully defrosted, and ready outside for the driver at the time of delivery. This excludes small appliances and microwaves. For these items, you must request a pre-paid return label here.
Please ensure appliances are disconnected and ready in advance of delivery, as all delivery times are approximate. Once an appliance is given to our driver for recycling, we are not responsible for the product itself, any fittings, fixtures, attachments or any other items within the appliance(s). This is a recycling service we offer and unfortunately we cannot facilitate the return of any WEEE appliance after collection.
When installation is paid for with your order, we will disconnect and remove your old appliance as part of our service. Please note if an item cannot be disconnected thus leading to installation not being completed, there will be a charge of €29.95 if you wish for us to come back and collect your old unit when it is ready and disconnected.
If the item can be disconnected at the time of delivery but installation cannot be completed, you must inform the driver at the time that you still require removal and recycling of your old appliance.
For gas and electric installs, please note that our delivery drivers are not insured to disconnect the old appliances, this will be done by the registered gas installer or qualified electrician. In most cases, our driver will return the following day to collect your old appliance, unless we are otherwise informed.
