BBQ Halloumi Skewers

It doesn’t matter whether you are a vegetarian or not. These BBQ halloumi skewers are a great choice for anyone who wants to give their taste buds a wonderful treat. Now, we’ve listed a selection of vegetables but these can be swapped for other vegetables or foods that you’d like to grill with your halloumi. You can also try any of our Angus & Oink rubs to give yourself a new flavour each time. It’s a fun, simple and versatile treat that anyone can ‘skew’ to their liking!   • 4 courgettes
  • 1 red onion
  • 3tbsp olive oil
  • 10 large cherry tomatoes
  • 250g halloumi
  • Any of our Angus & Oink rubs



Slice all of the vegetables and halloumi into large chunks.


Brush the vegetables and halloumi with your chosen rub.


Skewer the vegetables with the wooden skewers.


Place the skewers on the barbecue near the edge for 10-15 mins, turning occasionally. If you place them in the centre, there is a chance that they will burn and potentially go on fire. Add more rube as you go.


When the vegetables are tender, remove the skewers from the barbecue.


Serve and enjoy!
