What sets the LG QNED83 apart is the way its Mini LED backlight and Dynamic QNED Color Pro work together on a 65-inch 4K canvas. Part of the 2026 QNED evo range, this Smart TV is driven by the Alpha 8 AI Processor 4K Gen3, which handles AI Super Upscaling, AI Picture Pro and AI HDR Remastering for every scene. A native 120Hz panel with VRR up to 144Hz keeps fast sport and gaming smooth, while webOS 26 with AI Hub brings Multi AI Search and AI Concierge to the home screen. Finished in Charcoal Black, it pairs a bold picture with 20W sound and Virtual 11.1.2 channel up-mix for evenings that feel like an event.

Why Our Specialists at AD Love It
Our specialists highlight the native 120Hz panel with VRR up to 144Hz, backed by AMD FreeSync Premium and HGiG, which makes this a strong pick for console gaming. They also rate the Dynamic QNED Color Pro picture, which LG states is certified for 100% colour volume, for rich colour on a big 65-inch screen.

A Rich, Detailed Picture
At the heart of this 65-inch screen is a 4K QNED Mini LED panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, giving films, sport and streamed series crisp, detailed definition. Dynamic QNED Color Pro, which LG states is certified for 100% colour volume, brings rich colour to films, sport and series alike. HDR10 and HLG support means compatible streams and broadcasts are shown with the extended brightness range they were made for, and FILMMAKER MODE with Ambient Light Compensation presents films the way their creators intended while adapting to the light in your room.

Intelligent Processing and Sound
The Alpha 8 AI Processor 4K Gen3 does the heavy lifting behind the picture. AI Super Upscaling refines lower-resolution sources for the 4K screen, AI Picture Pro fine-tunes the image, and AI HDR Remastering adds a further layer of processing for a vivid result. Sound comes from 20W 2.0 channel down-firing speakers with Alpha 8 AI Sound Pro, and a Virtual 11.1.2 channel up-mix widens the soundstage so dialogue, music and effects feel more spacious.

webOS 26 With AI Hub
webOS 26 puts LG's AI Hub at the centre of the smart experience. Multi AI Search draws on Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot to help you find answers and content, while AI Concierge and AI Voice ID add further personal touches to the experience. LG Shield security helps protect the platform and your data. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless connections, and wired options include Ethernet, a USB 2.0 port, optical audio out and a CI slot.

Built for Fast Gaming
Gamers get a native 120Hz refresh rate with VRR up to 144Hz, keeping fast-moving action smooth. AMD FreeSync Premium, HGiG and Motion Booster 288 add further polish for consoles and PCs. Three HDMI inputs support 4K 120Hz along with VRR, ALLM, QMS and QFT, giving consoles and PCs a full set of HDMI gaming features. With eARC on HDMI 2, a soundbar or AV receiver can be connected for a bigger sound to match the picture.
